Know my Skills

After sometime chewing on the idea of how to describe myself and my superpowers in a few words (yes, my skills are my superpowers), I came across the perfect one: I’m a multipotentialite, or, what in the previous century people like to call, a “Jill of all trades”. So, what is a multipotentialite?

A multipotentialite is someone who:
- Combines ideas
- Learns and acquires skills quickly
- Is highly adaptable
- Translates between different ways of thinking.

I am curious about the world in every form and shape and that is why, I am drawn to a multitude of fields. It’s not a flaw, but a strength, and my strengths are my superpowers. In one word: Multipotencialite. Let me break it down:

Idea Synthesis

I am able to combine two or more fields of expertise to solve a dilemma and providing innovative solutions. Name the problem, I will probably talk to you about a solution or provide you a solution. I cannot change the course of events, but I have a problem-fixer personality.

Fast Learning and fast skill acquisition

When interest arise, a multipotentialite becomes deeply focused and is not afraid to join a Level 0 program to achieve knowledge at the end of the road, because, that knowledge will most definitely help in a task somewhere in the future. So, potentialites are not afraid of trying new stuff and stepping out of my comfort zone. I most certainly am that person.

Adaptability

Depending on the challenge, I morph into whatever I need to be in a given situation: I can assume a leadership role or integrate a team with the same enthusiasm and dedication. My utmost concern is always the ends meet.

Translating between modes of thought

Sometimes I am one in the team, sometimes I am the whole team! Yes, you read it well. I have that power of organization (I Kanban my life, that’s why) and when the time is of the essence, I become one with your mind to deliver the project from idea to completion.
